It has been two years since the widly popular Indestrucable came out. But with the new album Asylum, Disturbed does not dissapoint. Now being a huge fan Disturbed and the album Indestrucable, i can honestly say that this album is a worthy. Though i don't personally find it as good as Indestrucable, it deffinetly won't leave you bored or dissapoint. I have not bought the album, but through iTunes i have bought a few songs and through youtube i have listened to most if not all of the songs. My favorite is Another Way To Die, i really liked the slower intro to it. SOme other songs i really like(not in order) are Asylum(title track), Never Again, Warrior, My Child and The Infection.
One thing i wish to talk about, is how the intro sounds very similar to Indestrucable. It is differnt, but i did feel like i heard it before. After skimming through my Disturbed songs, i realized it. I even played them at the same time and found they do VERY similar. Even with this, Warior is a great song and deserves to be heard. Espically since the lyrics are very awesome.

Whats new in the movie business?
Indie films are sky rocketing. With no small thanks to Jason Reitman, who directed the widly popular Juno, Up In The Air and Thank You For Smoking. If you dont know, Indie films are small budget movies usual being a Drama. Since other genres cost a lot more. So whats new for this genre? Well one that im extremly excited for is the thriller "Buried" which features Ryan Reynolds stuck in a coffin with only a lighter, a knife and a phone. The whole movie takes place in the coffin and is around 90 minutes long, since thats all the time he has to live before he suffocates. Even though this movie only has one scene, it still cost 2 million dollars. Which is very cheap for moives. Another strange thing, is that the movie was shot in only 17 days.
Another big genre, will be 3D movies. This will be the third time, 3D movies have tried to get big. A+I think this time, they will stay. This industry must thank movies like Avatar, Clash Of The Titans, Alice In Wonderland, and Toy Story 3. Which are leading the box office and fronting the new race for top 3D movie. 3D movies that should never have came into existence are Step Up 3D and Piranhas 3D. Now these had stunning visuals, but thats all they have to offer. Some could say the same for Clash Of The Titans. But i found Clash poorly made, but it at least entertained me for its duration and i didn't even see it in 3D.
Lastly, comic book movies are huge again. After the original Batmans, they kind of died out. But now they are bigger than ever. Some big leaders are the Christopher Nolan Batmans and the Spiderman series. But there has been some non series made. Most notibly, Sin City and Kickass. Most people ust assume superhero movies to be just fun, but thanks to most of these moives people now know that comic book movies can be taken seriously.

Review of Taxi Driver
Well i just exited out of Windows Media, after finishing the infamous Taxi Driver. I must say, this movie deffinetly lives up to its reputation. I was shocked that even Scorsesse could make such a masterful and perfect picture. Starting with the plot and going to the score, this movie never faults. Though some people may say some scenes drag on, i could not get it enough of Deniro as this crazed man on a quest.
I'll start with the acting. Deniro was perfect casted as the man whose mising a few screws. In ever scene, he did the best he possibly could. Even it scenes when he's not talking, he just LOOKs like a crazed man. And when the "You talkin' to me?..." scene came up, i was literally stunned. I've heard that line so many times. But i never knew it came from this and i never how HOW it should be said. I will sadly have to stop saying that line, since i would bring disgrace on Deniro's pitch perfect acting.
Onto Jodie Foster. From what i had heard, it seemed like she was Deniros leading lady. But shes only in the last half/third of the movie. Though once she finally does show up, she's there for good. I never really liked her, espically in Silence Of The Lambs, but she's nearly as perfect as Deniro. One scene to note, is when her and Deniro are in the diner and she starts laughing. You could tell it was a fake laugh, but it didn't seem like it was Jodie doing a bad job laughing. It seemed like the charcater was doing a fake laugh. It hards to explain, but basicly everything that would seem like faulty acting seemed like the character being overly dramatic. Which makes her acting, a hundred times better
The script is near perfect. With only a few dragging scenes throughout. I also just love how he made the main character a taxi driver, instead of a big business or someone average movie character. It really opened the movie to a whole new perspective and feel to it. They probaly could have changed it and made it a little darker and more interesting. But i dont think they NEEDED to change anything.
I give this a 5 out of 5 or a 10 out of 10.

Review of Takers
This weekend(Actually last weekend, i just forgot) i saw Scott Pilgrim and Takers. Well Takers, has almost ever hiest movie cliche ever evented stuffed into it. Its like mixing the Oceans, Inception and countless other movies together and taking away all the best parts. The only thing differnt is that their "Big Job", is a lot less than any other hiest movie. It also has a little bit of A-Team in thier, will the all-star cast leading this movie.
So is it worth it? For me, this movie worked. I wouldn't say its nearly as good(or as much fun) as the Oceans. But this movie holds it own, with some pretty decent acting. Most notibly, would be Chris Brown. Yes, remember him? The guy who "beat up" Rihana. Well he part of the main cast and he actual doesn't ruin this movie. Given that his part isn't to hard, but still. Who would've expected Chris Brown to be able to act better than any Disney star? Well i didn't. Another actor to mention, is Matt Dillon. Who was in a previous hiest movie this year(Armored), were he played the leader of this bad guys. Well in Takers, he plays the leader of the cops who GET the bad guys.
The plot isn't the greatest, but it still gives you some funny one liners and a fun and action packer movie. i give takers a3(possible 3 1/2) out of 5 or around an 8 out of 10. I give this moive a mild recremendation. Its more of a movie night at home with the family.

Review of Scott Pilgrim VS. The World
As i exited the theater and threw my empty candy box away, i dreamed of living in a crazy videogame world. I got this idea from the movie i had just seen, "Scott Pilgrim vs. The World". For me, this movie was funny, quirky, touching, action packed, and stunning effects left and right. Now all of this is one sided. Since some people might not get the humor and might get bored with the 90s video game effects. But this movie wss based off graphic novels, which were written in the 90s. Also, i think the dated effects added to funny and light heartedness of this movie. Even if people do like the effects, they might get bored with them by the final climatic ending. I was not bored. I could have easily seen them bring more in from the books, adding in length. Just so i could get a little more of this cool movie.
If you do not know, this movie is from the director of "Shaun Of The Dead" and "Hot Fuzz". Personel, i found Scott Pilgrim funnier and more orginal than both of his previous films. I will probaly get many people who disagree, but Scott Pilgrim just grabbed me someway and won't let me go.
I give it a 4 out of 5, or 8 1/2 out of 10. I would recremend this to people, who enjoyed his previous movies. Or just want something new.
